Mathias Chaidez has dedicated his life mastering the violin. At the early age of five, Mathias began playing the violin, which he was inspired by Maestro Itzak Perlman who had been a guest artist on the Sesame Street TV Show. Since then, Mathias has graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring. He has accomplished private studies from the San Francisco Conservatory and is now working in the field as a freelance player.
Mathias has over 26 years of multi-genre music such as: Country, Blue Grass, Funk, Jazz, Fusion, Rock, Trance, Drum & Bass, Blues, Hip Hop, Film Scores, Show Tunes, Down Tempo and Classical.
At a very young age, Mathias donated much of his musical gift to churches, Christian challenge programs, schools, and convalescent homes for the elderly.
During adolescent years, Mathias acquired lucrative roles as a music arranger, composer, music editor, producer and performer for the performances of Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet" and "Cyrano de Bergerac". Later onto his career, Mathias has produced band demos performing for review under known names such as, Dave Mathews, Alan Jackson, James Taylor, Toby Keith and Sarah Evans. Some highlights of his auditions include Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Entertainment, Jackie Velasquez and the Disney Young Musicians. Mathias has also performed at esteemed venues in Southern California such as, The Coach House, The Galaxy, The Roxie, OC Pavilion, Knott’s Berry Farm, Verizon Amphitheater, John Force NHRA Corporation, House of Blues (Anaheim) and Nokia Theater with many more to come. Mathias has had the opportunity of opening up for prestigious names such as, Hal Ketchum, Asleep at the Wheel, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Glen Campbell, Sarah Buxton, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts and Raul Malo from "The Mavericks".
